RESPONSIBILTIES
- Development, operation and maintenance of the campus network infrastructure used for data, voice and video communications
- Deveopment of the campus voice communication facilities and systems including VoIP servers, IP clients, conventional PBX system and PBX/PSTN gateway
- Development of video communication facilities and systems for multicast/unicast transport of high quality DV video, live video webcasts and video
conferencing
- Development of campus LDAP directory and the associated authentication systems for all services offered by ICSU
- Development of software related to the operation of campus communication infrastructure and the services offered by ICSU
- Development and operation of the network access control (NAC) system to control devices in the multi-vendor network environment
- Supervision and Level 3 technical support for all network operations
- Supervise and guide ICSU staff including two network engineers
